Pod 40: Dirk Maggs and the Sound of Supermarionation

Dirk Maggs is a freelance writer and director and is principally known for his work in radio, where he evolved radio drama into "Audio Movies," a near-visual approach combining scripts, layered sound effects, cinematic music and cutting edge technology. Dirk has been a fan of Gerry Anderson from an early age. In part one of this chat, he talks about Supercar, Fireball XL5, Stingray and Thunderbirds - particularly focussing on the sound design and music.

Plus listener emails, the randomiser, FAB Facts, and some technical issues for our ruby (40th) podcast!
