Episode 23

Pod 23: Voice of Doctor Who's Daleks - Nicholas Briggs

Nicholas Briggs (or Nick Briggs as we know him) is the voice of the Daleks from Doctor Who, and executive producer at Big Finish Productions. He's also a lifelong Gerry Anderson fan.

We cover Nick's first experience with Gerry Anderson shows - Supercar - back in the early 1960s, through Firesball XL5, Stingray and Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, Secret Service, UFO and Space:1999. We even cover what Nick's mum thought of Thunderbirds.

Richard gives he vocal cords (and your ears) a rest this week so no 'newsy news' song, but don't worry - we've got a fantastic randomiser to make up for it!

This is a huuuuuge episode running at 2h20+. Enjoy!

Playing Officer Orrin in Gerry Anderson's last live action series 'Space Precinct' clearly wasn't enough to put Richard off the worlds of Gerry Anderson!

As well as co-hosting the Gerry Anderson Podcast and the almost-monthly Facebook, Twitch, Periscope and Youtube broadcast, FabLive, Richard has also taken parts in the audio series 'Terrahawks' and the pilot minisode for the forthcoming 'Gerry Anderson's Firestorm'.
